Consultation

The consultation is an essential tool in evaluating your current health and fitness, as well as providing benchmark statistics on which to work from.  The consultation is used to create your individual training programme which is based on your results and the conversation we have thereafter.  The initial consultation is completely FREE and includes though not exclusively the following assessments:

  • Postural analysis in sitting and standing position

  • Body Mass Index (BMI)

  • Body fat %

  • Body water %

  • Waist and hip ratio

  • Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)

  • Blood pressure measurements

  • Cardiovascular / VO2 max / lactate threshold testing

  • Resting heart rate and calculated heart rate training zones

  • Flexibility testing

  • Muscle strength and endurance testing

  • Body measurements and skin-fold testing

  • Nutrition intake analysis

All test results carried out during the initial consultation are maintained in the strictest of confidence, shared solely between the client and trainer.  The results are used to form and design an individually tailored goal orientated programme for each unique client.  It is also a great opportunity to meet Darren and form the foundations of what could be a life changing relationship.  For clients that go on to purchase regular sessions, future assessments will be carried out to monitor and evaluate your progress.
